The HISTORY® original series Vikings transports us to the brutal and mysterious world of Ragnar Lothbrok (Travis Fimmel), a Viking warrior and farmer who yearns to explore—and raid—the distant shores across the ocean. His ambition puts him at odds with local chieftain Earl Haraldson (Gabriel Byrne), who insists on sending his raiders to the impoverished east rather than the uncharted west. When Ragnar teams up with his boat builder friend Floki (Gustaf Skarsgard) to craft a new generation of intrepid ships capable of conquering the rough northern seas, the stage is set for conflict.

Wayne Gretzky (no relation) is a vampire who can't grow his teeth. His impotence began when he inadvertently killed Mary Lipinsky, the love of his life, 300 years ago. To take his mind off the pain, he teaches college history - who better? Attempting to regain his full power, he enlists help from his friend and colleague, Dr. Levine (Gary Cole). Nothing works until a new semester brings freshman Chris Keller. She's a dead ringer for Mary and they have a lurid affair, while rumors fly around the campus. But it all sours when he turns Chris into a vampire and her newfound bloodlust spins out of control in a bloody rampage, making the rumors a little too real.

[Movie] Veer (2010) IDWS
Circa 1920 British India, Pindari leader, Prithvi Singh, narrates his story to a Report from London Times about betrayal and deceit at the hands of the British and Madhavgarh's Raja Gyanendra Singh which led to the massacre of 4500 Pindaris. Although Prithvi sliced off Gyanendra's right arm, he has sworn to avenge and behead him and two-faced Britishers - who on one hand preach about Justice, Fraternity and Equality, but conquer and rule vulnerable natives - fueling hate and division on lines of religion, and caste. He sends his sons, Veer Pratap and Poonam, to Britain to learn about their devious ways, so that he can conquer Madhavgarh. The duo, despite of Lord Macaulay's malicious policy to convert foreign nationals to his way of thinking, not only pick up the relevant skills but also slay Yuvraj Sujan Singh, the only son of Gyanendra, much to the joy of the Pindaris. But Prithvi is in for a shock when he finds out that Veer has decided to wed Yashodhara, Sujan's sister, little knowing that she, after being crowned Yuvraji, has sworn to eliminate all enemies of Madhavgarh at any and all costs.

Di sebuah pertemuan tingkat tinggi menentang terorisme di Spanyol, Presiden AS Ashton, tiba-tiba ditembak oleh seorang penembak misterius saat menyampaikan pidatonya. Keadaan semakin kacau saat bom kemudian meledak. Namun, di tengah kekacauan tersebut dua orang agen rahasia bertanggung jawab pada keselamatan sang presiden, Thomas Barnes dan Kent Taylor, berusaha mencari tahu siapakah penembak sang presiden. Pada saat itu pula seorang WN Amerika bernama Howard Lewis berhasil mengabadikan momen tersebut. Beberapa orang saksi pun menceritakan kejadian tersebut dari sudut pandang mereka masing-masing. Termasuk diantaranya Rex Brooks, seorang produser acara televisi yang meliput event itu. Dalam film ini kita mengikuti jalan cerita masing-masing orang dalam waktu 15 menit sebelum penembakan terjadi dan mengungkap kebenaran di balik pembunuhan tersebut.
